After a summer in Ibiza, Nicole found her true calling making music that serves as medicine for the soul. She went from spending her days as a cybersecurity specialist for the US government in Washington DC and moonlighting as a DJ to fully stepping into the limelight as an international DJ and producer.
15 years in the music industry later, Nicole has toured all over Europe, North and South America. She is a true musical artisan who has performed at countless festivals and events including Tomorrowland and Burning Man while also performing for corporate clients such as Google, Amazon, Facebook and the White House Correspondents Dinner. Along her musical journey, Nicole saw the industry need for a fair ethical way to book international talent. This led to the birth of her own artist-centric entertainment company Pelonkey Entertainment.
Nicole’s DJ persona has evolved from the pink-haired pop-music playing “DJ Neekola” to finding her own true authentic sound in electronic music as “Neeks”. Now based between Washington DC and her beach home studio in the Dominican Republic, Nicole has finished producing her first solo album “Beat Play Love” releasing in segments during Burning Man 2022.
When Nicole isn’t working on music, she is exploring her new passion as an aspiring aerial silks performer. Her vision is to combine her electronic musical performance with the visual artistry of aerial silks. Nicole also continues to be involved with helping at-risk youth; from her time in the US with Best Buddies and Computer Corner to now teaching kids how to produce music at InspireDR. Neeks welcomes the opportunity to get involved with charity events and of course, she would love to bring her soul-touching sounds to your next dance floor.
